Heale — Professional Mental Health Care for Every Stage of Life

A licensed clinical social work corporation serving individuals, families, and communities with compassionate, evidence-based mental health care — and the specialized court-connected services that set us apart.

Who We Are

Heale is a Professional Licensed Clinical Social Work Corporation founded on a simple but powerful belief — that every person who enters the legal system carries with them a story that deserves professional attention, not just a court order. We are not a solo practice. We are a licensed clinical corporation with a multidisciplinary team of licensed clinical social workers, supervised associate clinicians, certified substance use counselors, certified supervision monitors, family support specialists, and dedicated support staff — all working under the clinical direction of our founder and clinical director, Melissa Hale, LCSW.

We serve court-connected individuals and families, voluntary clients seeking mental health support, and the courts, judges, attorneys, and probation departments that depend on credentialed, reliable clinical partners. Whatever brings a client to Heale — a court order, a referral, or their own decision to seek help — they are met with the same standard of professional care, clinical excellence, and genuine human compassion.

Our Mission

At Heale, A Professional Licensed Clinical Social Work Corporation, we believe that every person who enters the legal system carries with them a story that deserves professional attention, not just a court order. Our mission is to bridge the gap between the justice system and quality mental health care — providing licensed, evidence-based clinical services to court-connected clients, their families, and the legal professionals who serve them. From court-ordered evaluations and supervised visitation to individual therapy and family reconnection, Heale delivers the clinical rigor that courts require and the compassionate care that families deserve.

What Makes Heale Different

We serve both audiences without compromising either. Most mental health practices serve individual clients. Most forensic practices serve courts. Heale was built to do both — at the same professional standard. A judge referring a family to Heale and an individual seeking therapy on their own terms will both find a practice that takes their needs seriously.

We are a corporation, not a solo practice. Heale operates as a licensed professional corporation with a full multidisciplinary team. This means more availability, more specialization, and more continuity of care for every client we serve.

We understand the legal system. Our team is experienced in the documentation standards, reporting requirements, and professional expectations of family court, dependency court, and probation. We speak the language of the courtroom — and we translate it into care that actually helps people.

We never lose sight of the human being. Court involvement does not define a person. It is often the beginning of their path to something better. At Heale, every client — regardless of how they found us — is treated with dignity, professionalism, and genuine care.
